Unfortunately, not out racing, the William Fife designed Mariquita is on the dock at Cowes Yacht Haven. Built in 1911 and restored in 2003, she is widely considered to be one of the world’s most beautiful classic sailing yachts.

With over 500 sailors in the audience, it was a great turnout for the North Sails 'History in the Making' event at Cowes Yacht Haven on the first day of the regatta.

Ken Read led the group in a discussion of sailing including themes of technology, innovation, teamwork, and fostering enthusiasm in young sailors.
