Captain of the Royal Southern Yacht Club’s Team racing trio for the RYS Bicentenary International Regatta, Ben Mansfield, will have a secret weapon in his arsenal, in the form of young world champion sailor Annabel Vose, a university student who is current University Match Racing Worlds women’s world championship, and current University World Yachting champion.

The YCCS group, headed by Sports Director Edoardo Recchi, will present two teams at the Royal Yacht Squadron’s Bicentenary International Regatta: one racing on the J70 team racing course and the other on board a First 40 in the Level Rating competition.

North Sails is excited to present History in the Making, a panel discussion celebrating the Squadron’s Bicentenary event and featuring the top names in sailing. America’s Cup skipper Sir Ben Ainslie of Land Rover BAR, the defending skipper of Oracle Team USA Jimmy Spithill, and skipper of Team SCA’s all-female Volvo Ocean Race team, Sam Davies, will be joined by North Sails president Ken Read.

Mike Slade’s 100ft Leopard 3, one of the world’s most recognised yachts, will be on the Solent start line at the Royal Yacht Squadron’s Bicentenary International Regatta, 25-31 July.

Leopard will be sailing amongst the other top guns including George David’s new Juan K designed all-carbon 88ft Rambler which will be making her UK debut this summer.
