Infanta

Infanta was commissioned by Houlder Hudgins, fleet captain of the Indian Harbour Y.C., Connecticut in 1947. She was named Infanta after the Spanish flagship of the Havana fleet. She competed regularly with the iconic yachts of the day in races like the Bermuda Race. In the 1981 she was acquired by a new owner who made extensive improvemenents and sailed her extensively. She changed hands again in 1991 and then in 2006 she was imported into the UK. Her current owner has raced her extensively including in the Mediterranean regattas.
